It was the first time I ever re-cg'd anything. In my stupidity, I never consulted any guides like the one you spoke of, just asked a few friends who painted digitally and asked for some pointers from isshi. I basically winged it and went with gut instinct. I do have plenty of experience painting traditionally so reconstructing the torn area wasn't as much of a problem for me as I'd originally thought.

The petals were isshi's idea, though the blur wasn't. I admit this is one area where my amateurishness shows. I never intended to submit this wall but Blackrock and Isshi encouraged me to upload.

Thanks for the comment. Maybe ALPHONSE was on a tight deadline and went "BLAH, IT'S FINISHED NOW!" and submitted it as is. As for the wallpaper itself... Yay for lack of effort but ppl think it's shiny anyway, thus making me angry that I bother trying on some other ignored works...! /small voice

The truth is I had tried creating an image timeline but I had too much crap to go through, so this was easier/lazier. :P

I'm always looking forward to seeing other people's opinions and prospects about my wallies ^-^ I did worry I over blurred it a bit, but it's a new concept for me to blend and blur so I knew it wouldn't be perfect the first time >.< practice! haha I'm glad ya liked my personal effect ^___^ hehe I think the biggest thing I've been complimented for is the floor which pleases me to no end because even I hadn't expected it to turn out so well XDDD But again, thanks for the critique and I'll keep it in mind for future works ^-^

Kinda in the same position right now. The huge drawback I am facing is that I have to read 96 pages of communication theory using the computer since all our notes are in .pdf

No matter what they say, reading from the book is always the best solution. Since things are not working out and writing not only makes my hand hurt but it's extremely time consuming, next time I will simply try recording my voice and just listen to it a 100 times.

About the OST, Horizon was also an incredible one for this year and another one that there was no way I'd watch by seeing those unproportional busts. It's shows like this one that while moving in the mediocre side,the music beats everything. Same thing goes for Gundam AGE as well. Not as good as the godlike Unicorn OST but still a nice catch for this year.

yea so.. it doesnt work on my chrome very well i dont know why T_T. i'm glad i inspire you although i could never figure out why you liked my work so much, you are much more technically proficient than i am :P.

i've been doing a lot better actually. went through a tough period when my ex and i broke up but i'm kind of passed that tough stage. i'm glad to be walling again though i don't know how large my commitment is yet :D

when are you done with school? man school was busy but working is just on another LEVEL. its like i had time at duke to wall but now i never have any free time, its kind of crazy. i really admire people like sjade who can wall and work at the same time
